The field manager will lead the retail team to create a best in class customer experience, representing the brand first and foremost while managing a highly profitable and operational store. Must be customer focused as well as results and operationally focused. 

Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead sales processes and train team.
  • Oversee & assist in organizing mandatory monthly/quarterly team training programs emphasizing sales strategies and new technology offerings. best practices for selling & customer interaction.
  • Work with marketing team to drive traffic through retail marketing events
  • Support expansion process through recruiting, onboarding, and training
  • Responsible for driving sales within each store to achieve sales plan each month
  • Drive store results.
  • Lead by example, train and guide the retail staff to create a strong brand experience.
  • Create a strong retail team.
  • Drive strong operational execution, lead the store to be productive, efficient and profitable.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge, ensure all team members are experts on product and the brand.
  • Liaise between HQ and the store
  • Represent Freda as a brand ambassador

Customer Experience:

  • Be present on the sales floor and monitor client interaction alongside all teams / manage customer experience in store
  • Uphold & require extraordinary customer experience 
  • Be a leader for retail
  • Act as brand ambassador- engage customers on the brand, be knowledgeable of brand and product  in customer interactions 
  • Utilize customer interaction and feedback to provide tangible information to corporate teams. Compile this information in a way that can directly impact the customer experience.
  • Spearhead in-store events and participate in HQ initiated events from the Marketing team.
  • Manage Visual merchandising the store (weekly and seasonally). Execute window displays (with team).
  • Create a promote customer relationships through strong clienteling
  • Provide feedback to sales associates on performance and operations

Operations:

  • Uphold consistent inventory accuracy and controls in stores through weekly/monthly counts and quarterly physical inventory
  • Support store operations (ensure policies and procedures are being followed)  
  • Provide consistent feedback on operations and customer experience
  • Assist in overseeing inbound & outbound inventory. 
  • Maintain store operational procedures, maintain weekly workflow 
  •  Create and manage store based on needs of each store and budget
  • Manage store-wide ordering using a monthly budget 
  • Ensure the selling floor reflects the brand and concept standards at all times
  • Provide weekly feedback on product and sales performance
  • Communicate feedback to HQ on product feedback, customer feedback, and strategic business planning
  • Manage customer repairs
  • Process all online to in-store returns. 
  • Purchase store supplies
  • Manage staffing and payroll.
  • Manage all store scheduling.
  • Manage order fulfillment. 
  • Manage recruiting for the store (with HQ)
  • Manage inventory and inventory reconciliation.


Requirements

  • 3+ years specialty retail experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in a store manager or general manager role.
  • Accessory /  Leather goods, experience or passion. Contemporary & Luxury experience a plus. Technology competent
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a product focused store.
  • Move inventory, carry boxes - manage heavy stock.
  • Must have relevant multi-store management experience
  • Travel / Visit all stores
  • Must have relevant multi-store management experience
  • Visits all stores - budget to be approved by Manager
  • Work alongside team on Sales Floor
